In-person tests for examinations in progress have been postponed. New job bulletins and examinations will be developed as circumstances allow, but please expect delays. Medical Services Division
Public safety and safety-sensitive classifications -- Police Officer, Firefighter, Detention Officer, Communications Rep, and PSR -- will continue with limited appointments each day. Follow-up appointments for diabetic checks and similar matters will be conducted via phone. All non-essential pre-employment screening will be suspended until further notice. To the extent that staffing capacity allows, medical personnel will conduct paper screenings of administrative and clerical personnel.
Occupational Safety and Health Division
As a precautionary measure, Occupational Safety and Health Division (OSHD) has cancelled all in-person safety and ergonomic assessments and training. OSHD staff will continue to provide safety and ergonomic consultation and support via email and phone. In addition to the liaison staff, an assigned safety staff is available to answer calls during regular business hours, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at 213-378-3611. OSHD can also be reached via email at email@example.com.

Workers' Compensation Division
Public counter service temporarily suspended. Staff is available to answer calls at (213) 473-3400 from 8:00 am through 5:00pm Monday through Friday except City Holidays.
