Business, Jobs & Social Responsibility Division

The Community Program Director in the Business, Jobs & Social Responsibility Division (BJSR), plans, organizes, and supervises LAWA programs, such as workforce development programs and leads implementation and development of strategic initiatives.

Represents LAWA to key stakeholders and partners; Represents management at meetings with other governmental jurisdictions, City departments, or bureaus, and before City Commissions, the City Council and its Committees, and presents information and reports on actions taken; 

Manages LAWA's programs, such as the First Source Hiring Program;

Prepares or supervises preparation of complex narrative and statistical reports and correspondence; Conduct investigations and studies, and analyze and prepare reports and recommendations on employment and workforce trends; Other related duties as necessary.
