Graduation from an accredited 4-year college or university is required. Applicants must also have the legal right to work in the United States. Applicants with experience or completed courses in communications, human resources, and administrative/clerical functions are preferred. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written skills are required.
Summary of Duties
The incumbent assigned to this position will support the Personnel Client Services section in various duties, including but not limited to:
Advertise vacancies ready to hire and create requisitions/dispositions in NeoGov.
Prepare, organize, and review confidential interview materials.
Correspond with hiring managers and candidates to schedule interviews.
Make job offers and complete onboarding for selected hires.
Communicate and work effectively with staff, prospective candidates, and employees of other departments.
Assist with other clerical duties as requested and directed by management.
This is a part-time position, working 20 to 25 hours per week, but no more than 1,040 hours per year. The position is located at the Public Works Building, 1149 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
