Brief Description of Duties:

This position acts as the Sound Insulation Grant (SIG) Program Manager, providing critical oversight of residential sound insulation programs for the City of Inglewood and LA County, School Sound Insulation Program for the Inglewood Unified School District and the newly launched LAX-Residential Sound Insulation (LAX-RSI) Program for the cities of El Segundo and Los Angeles, with a total capital budget of $176 million.

The SIG Program Manager will oversee the new multi-million dollar LAX-RSI Project Management/Construction Management (PM/CM) contract and be responsible for the development and implementation of this new RSI Program.

This position will also coordinate with the local jurisdictions, the FAA and consultants, and assist with audits, analysis and other key duties, while providing program progress reports to executive management. The work to be performed by the SIG Program manager is critical and complex since it involves five distinct jurisdictional programs, ongoing dialogue with the local FAA Airport District Office staff, close coordination with the City Attorney’s Office, as well as LAWA finance and budget staff.
