The General Services Department, Fleet Services Division intends to fill three Welder positions at various locations.
DUTIES:
The candidate of the position is required to perform but not limited to the following duties:
Performs welding, repairs, and modifications on City equipment. Lays out, cuts, bends, and fits material in the fabrication of parts. Performs minor repairs to welding equipment and operates shop equipment such as metal cutting and shaping machinery, portable welders, and a forklift. Safety related shop maintenance and clean-up. Update equipment repair data in the automated Vehicle Management. Position at 24th street will primarily work with refuse collection vehicles.
NOTES:
Three positions, 9/80 shift, 6:00am to 3:30pm.
