DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

The Senior Administrative Clerk reports to a Senior Management Analyst or Management Analyst and is assigned to both support a specific team within the Unit, and to support the entire unit by responding to public and customer inquiries via phone and email on a rotating weekly basis.

The current vacancy is within the Training & Policy Team. Duties will include support of registration for training sessions, administration of training sessions, creating and verifying training reports, maintaining training records, arranging for reasonable accommodations in training, submitting accessibility related requests to systems, and updating digital files.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for this position must currently have the civil service job classification of Senior Administrative Clerk and have completed a probationary period in this classification by the application deadline.

SKILLS

Desirable candidates should also have the following skills:

1.     Ability to communication in a clear and professional manner with employees in various levels of the organization and the public.

 

2.     Ability to provide outstanding customer service to the public via phone and email.

 

3.     Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities;

 

4.     Ability to prepare and edit written materials accordingly;

 

5.     Strong organizational and time management skills; and

6.     Knowledge of Google Suite apps, Microsoft Word, and Excel is highly desirable.
