The Accounting Clerk in the Return to Work Unit (RTW) provides clerical and administrative support to Human Resources RTW by assisting in the preparation of Personnel-related documents, which involves both FMLA and non-FMLA Leaves of Absence .
This position is also responsible for Form 41 processing, maintaining confidential personnel files, performing data entry, maintaining the leaves database and filing personnel related documents. Selected candidate will also assist in providing information to employees and supervisors related to leaves. Performs other clerical support activities including typing, filing, faxing, and mail preparation. Prepares memoranda, letters, forms and other correspondence confidential in nature on an as needed basis. Assist with receptionist duties and performs other tasks as assigned.
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid CA Driver's License and must be able to operate a City vehicle during the course of employment. An active LAWA Security Badge is required at all times.
