The Senior Administrative Clerk in the Commission Investigation Division (CID) Police Permit Section reviews and processes various police permit applications and supplemental legal documents for Massage Establishments, CafĂ© Entertainment and Shows, Dance Halls, Valet Operations, Tow Operations, etc.; works with a variety of people within and outside the Department; regularly interacts with the public in-person; handles high volume telephone calls; provides verbal instructions during orientation classes for the purpose of application processes and completion; performs field work which includes visiting a variety of business establishments; prepares various reports; performs data entry; filing; assist other CID sections with indexing; assists with preparing for the weekly permit application processing, which includes moving and transporting a fax/copier with a utility cart, lifting and moving paper reams, and file boxes; may supervise Administrative Clerks and Office Trainees as needed; and performs other related duties.
