job description

Provides advice and assistance to Department supervisors and managers regarding uniform selection guidelines applicable to Department hiring, promotion, transfer, and pay grade advancement processes.  Prepares employee selection materials including worksheets, problem-solving exercises, and interview questions, to ensure compliance with Department policies, applicable laws, rules and regulations.  Conducts Test Coordinator training to Department employees. Assists with outside law enforcement agencies with their sworn promotional examinations rater/assessor requests. Reviews, and approves or denies, Police Officer III upgrade applications and maintains the Police Officer III database.
