The
Department of Animal Services is seeking to fill one As-Needed Administrative
Clerk to support the Administrative Hearings Section.
DUTIES
This Administrative Clerk will schedule and facilitate hearings
and meetings, compile documents to fulfill public records requests, and manage
Hearing Examiner calendars. The incumbent will create summons letters for
hearing participants, answer multiple phone lines and redirect calls to the
appropriate parties, craft emails, help prepare statistical reports for
departmental executive management, track inventory of office supplies, and
submit orders of supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS
To
carry out the duties successfully, the candidate must have outstanding oral and
written communication skills to interact with department staff, City residents,
and other stakeholders. They must have excellent organizational skills to ensure
that all processes and procedures are handled in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be very detail
oriented.
LICENSE
A
valid California driver’s license is required.
SALARY: $19.04 hourly
