The responsibilities of this position: perform difficult clerical work of a responsible nature requiring the use of independent judgement and a good knowledge of the functions of the division. Perform secretarial duties for the Commanding Officer. Maintain all calendar items for the Commanding Officer which includes coordinating with outside departments and /or agencies. Prepare reports and correspondences in a developing capacity. Perform receptionist duties. Furnish callers with information about divisional functions, procedures and activities. Maintain confidentiality. Read and route incoming and outgoing correspondence. Follow up on assignments made to employees of the division and advise supervisor of actions taken. Maintain files of records and reports. Maintain tracking systems and ensure document workflow.
