LAWA is seeking a qualified, self motivated and experienced Personnel Analyst (will consider current Management Analysts) to work in our Labor Relations Unit. The ideal candidate is a self starter, critical thinker, flexible, highly organized and possess excellent communications skills. This position is responsible for handling labor relation matters such as interpretation of MOUs, Civil Service Rules and other City policies. They will use good judgment and analytical skills to handle grievances, discipline investigations, Skelly meetings, and other meetings with Labor Union representatives.  They will prepare discipline and grievance recommendation reports, assists and/or presents CSC discipline appeal cases, attendance deviation reports and selection interviews in addition to other personnel related duties as necessary.  Bilingual skills a plus.
