LAWA is seeking to fill a Personnel Analyst position (will consider Management Analyst in-lieu) to advise Airport Police Division (APD) Management on labor relations matters, interpretation of LAWA Administrative Manual and APD Manual policies, Police Officer Bill of Rights (POBAR), MOUs, Civil Service Rules and other City policies. Participates in grievances, Skelly meetings, and various meetings with Labor Union representatives. Prepares discipline and grievance recommendation reports, assists and/or presents CSC discipline appeal cases, review staffing and position control documents, attendance deviation reports and selection interviews. Excellent team environment to gain labor relations experience. Will perform other personnel related duties as necessary.
