DUTIES

The Executive Administrative Assistant II (EAA II) will provide administrative support to two Assistant General Managers (AGMs) for the Department of Animal Services. Strong writing skills are a must as the EAA II will take and transcribe reports of a confidential nature, compose routine correspondence, and proofread materials for the AGMs’ signatures. The desired EAA II must be very organized and able to maintain executive files, arrange appointments, and maintain the personal calendars of both AGMs. The incumbent must possess excellent interpersonal skills to answer and screen calls, arrange meetings, and respond to inquiries about departmental activities. The Department of Animal Services is dynamic and unique. We are looking for someone capable of keeping the pace and providing professional support to our executive team as we work together to deliver excellent customer service and the humane treatment of animals.

 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must currently be an Executive Administrative Assistant or have status in the classification.


LICENSE

A valid California driver’s license is required.
