Listed below are the various employee associations that support the Los Angeles Fire Department. They are available to assist you in pursuing your goals of becoming a Los Angeles City Firefighter. Please feel free to contact the associations if you have questions about the selection process, networking opportunities, career advancement and mentoring programs. These associations may also assist you in scheduling a fire station visit.

Sirens is a diverse non-profit support network for firefighters, paramedics and other fire service members. This association provides entry level and career advancement mentoring. Specific focus is given to gender/equity issues within the fire service.
