Raul Pérez is the co-managing partner and a civil litigation attorney in the Los Angeles office of Capstone Law. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, has been practicing law for approximately two decades, and recently received the prestigious Clay Award as the California Attorney of the Year in Employment Law. Mr. Pérez has significant experience prosecuting wage and hour and consumer class actions, and has recovered over $100 million in cases involving wage theft and consumer fraud. He also is committed to public service, having served as a commissioner on both the Los Angeles World Airports (LAX) and the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension Board prior to his service on the Civil Service Commission.
Mr. Pérez is the former President of the Latino Lawyers Association and served on the board of Padres Contra El Cancer, the Latino Theatre Company, Girls Inc., and the Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Beverly Hills Little League and Board of Advisors to the Banc of California and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. He is also a lector and a member of the Liturgy Committee for the Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills, as well as serving on the Board for Good Shepherd Catholic School.
Mr. Pérez is the youngest son of Mexican immigrants who spent most of their working life as farmworkers in the San Joaquin Valley. He has three children, including toddler twins.
